Hey All,
I’ve been keeping a journal of my notes on trends and changes for about 2 years now within Art $ Attention.
My goal with this has always been to share my own view as a way to spark imagination, and then let you find a North Star in the constellation of curated links and rabbit hole recommendations.
At first, this was related to brand trends that impacted us as creators and entrepreneurs: tying the macro to the micro with the impacts I imagine it would have on our careers.
Then, my obsession with crypto which began in 2017 only deepened (and continues to) and this letter converged to be only to on crypto and markets-related topics.
I had the most joy with A$A in two areas: First sharing audio notes with readers. Second, publishing to the community via my Telegram channel.
I intend to incorporate both of these elements into what I’m creating next. But I’m shaking up what this letter is focused on.
Welcome to The Elevator
A source for trusted people, products, and resources that feed the entrpreneur’’s business and spirit.
Most entrepreneurs do what everyone else does, they take the stairs.
They run into problems and then dive into google, read tweet threads, have discovery calls, and sift through the noise to try and find the answers.
Smart entrepreneurs take the elevator: By hiring specialists, working with smart resources, and generally reaching the next level through an intentional process or approach.
The Stairs vs. The Elevator
The Stairs = You continue to work hard, for little gain. Trying to do it all yourself, without a process or a vision for how to get to what’s next.
The Elevator = You hire someone, something, or some process that creates a new vision for how to get there, and you let them take the lead.
So, I will be sharing a mix of resources, people and products that help you with this.
People like…
A pitch deck specialist who’s worked with 80+ companies to help you raise at higher valuations.
A ghostwriter and editor that helps entrepreneurs self-publish (some you might recognize)
A former pro-athlete turned recruiter who picks talent for top E-Commerce businesses.
Plus resources, products, and ideas that assist you on the journey.
While running my company, I made a rule for myself:
“Spend more every year on personal and professional development than the year before.”
Since then I’ve spent tens of thousands working with great coaches, mentors, specialists, etc.
The bottleneck to that goal, however, has always been finding the right person/product/experience at the right time.
Through serendipity; It was always that I just happened to meet the right person or opportunity at the right time…Until now.
I’m starting a weekly discovery letter for engineering serendipity to connect you with the people and resources that can impact you the most.
If even one mention or recommendation from this letter changes your trajectory for the better, this whole project will have been a success.
Community
Identifying highly trusted recommendations isn’t possible with just one person.
Our journeys lead all of us down a unique path, and on that path, other resources arrive that help us at just the right moment.
By sourcing recommendations via community, we not only find and highlight better, undiscovered talent and resources, we also remove a part of the trust barrier that keeps us disconnected.
In our Telegram channel, we begin to share knowledge, resources and opportunities.
By sourcing recommendations from the 1,000+ readers, we put ideas in front of a wider network. By verifying members, we take one step closer to creating a trusted introduction.
Our members include E-Commerce operators, Web3 digital nomads, sought-after freelancers, and venture-backed founders.
If this is for you, simply stick around for more soon,
